In consideration of participating in the sport of paintball, air soft, bazooka ball or .50 caliber low impact paintball, I represent I understand the nature of this Activity and I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate. I acknowledge that if I believe event conditions are unsafe, I will immediately discontinue participation.  I fully understand this activity involve risks of serious bodily injury, including permanent disability, paralysis and death, which may be caused by my own actions, or inactions, those of others participating in the event, the conditions in which the event takes place, or the negligence of the “releases” named below; and there may be other risks either not known to me or readily foreseeable at this time; and I fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages I incur as a result of my participation.

I hereby release, discharge, and covenant not to sue Covert Ops Paintball & Fun Center, LLC, its respective administrators, directors, agents, officers, volunteers, and employees, other participants, any sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises on which the activity takes place, (each considered one of the “RELEASES” herein) from all liability, claims, demands, losses or damages on my account caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence or the “releases” or otherwise, including negligent rescue operations; and I further agree if, despite this releases, waiver of liability, and assumption of risk I, or anyone on my behalf, make a claim against any of the releases, I will indemnify, save, and hold harmless each of the releases from any loss, liability, damage, or cost which any may incur as the result.

I have read this RELEASE AND WAIVER OR LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT and understand I have given up substantial rights by signing it and have signed it freely and without any inducement and assurance of any nature and intend it be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law and agree if any portion of this agreement is held to be valid the balance, notwithstanding, shall continue in full force and effect.

Code of Conduct

All participants will complete the safety brief prior to play and abide by safety signage, instructions and gear requirements at all times and in all areas of the facility

No alcohol or drugs

No smoking on the fields (smoking allowed only in designated areas)

No foul language or cursing

No arguing with referees or staff

No firing of any kind outside marked fields of play or chrono stations

No knives, wire or rope on the field

No tools/repairing of markers on the field

No physical contact

No outside paint or BBs or personal fill stations

No pyrotechnics

Rules of Play

GOGGLES:  M ust be worn at all times on the field and when chronoing.  Goggles must meet or exceed AST standards.  Goggles must be properly worn in a way to maximize eye protection.  There are no circumstances that would allow you to remove your goggles on the playing field or when in the chrono station.  If you have to defog/remove paint splatters, please find a referee. 

MARKERS:  Must be fitted with a barrel sock/plug at all times except on the field of play or when chronoing.  All markers must be in safe operating condition. Trigger guards are mandatory. All modes of play are acceptable so long as safety rules are abided. 

MARKER VELOCITIES:  There will be no hot markers allowed on the field of play.  All markers must be chronoed under 280fps unless otherwise posted.  If you break the rule once, you will be asked to leave the field for 30 minutes.  The second time you are caught you will be ejected from the facility without refund.  There will be no exceptions.

PAINT CHECK:  Splatters do not count unless it is from a grenade.  Any hit, nickel size or larger to the body, head, marker, and/or equipment counts as an elimination.  If you need a paint check, stay in place and call for a referee.  Do your best to check yourself.  

SURRENDERING:  If a player is close enough to be eliminated, the opposing player may ask him to surrender.  The player to be eliminated now has the option.  He must indicate acceptance to the other player immediately.  Be smart, if someone is that close, surrender.

I understand and agree to comply with the Facility Rules and Rules of Play.  I understand failure to adhere to these rules will cause mandatory ejection without refund.   In addition, damage to persons, facility or surrounding properties will result in a fine equal to costs incurred including but not limited to medical, repairs, cleaning, construction, labor, administrative and legal fees and will be the sole responsibility of the participant.
